Tänään julistimme vuoden 1982 popklassikkolistamme ykkösen, joka oli itseoikeutetusti ABC:n The Look of Love. Teos edustaa monella tapaa ideaalia tuottaja–artisti-symbioosia, ainakin kuuntelijan kannalta. Molemmat osapuolet pääsevät esittelemään vahvuuksiaan, toisiaan täydentäen. Martin Fryn melodraama saa Trevor Hornin pullistelusta arvoisensa kehykset.

Tuottajanero Trevor Hornin lonkerot ulottuvat syvälle popmusiikin ytimeen ja ovat levittäytyneet jo viidelle vuosikymmenelle.
